Santa Barbara Airport (SBA)

The Santa Barbara airport is a short 15 min drive from downtown making it convenient option for your travels! PROS: If you choose to fly into Santa Barbara a rental car is unnecessary. It is very easy to get around via Uber, Lyft, by bike and on foot! CONS: If you are coming from the East Coast there are no direct flights, but you can connect through various cities throughout the country.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

If you are flying in from the East Coast, LAX is more affordable and will have direct flights from all major airports. LAX is located in El Segundo, CA which is about 2 hours about from Santa Barbara. GETTING TO SB FROM LAX We recommend renting a car and taking the scenic route on Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) through Malibu and Ventura!
