We met while I (Meghanne) was hanging out with one of William's friends! I was instantly attracted to his wit and charm. William has never been great at catching a hint, and no matter how many times I hinted that I liked him, he wouldn't make the first move. Fast forward to the summer of 2013 and we instantly became inseparable. From bonfires, to fishing in the dark, there was never a dull moment between myself, William and our closest friends.

William and I were on our way to our annual NFL game, this time it was in Minneapolis- SKOL! We always add on a little bit of adventure to our trips and this time it had to be mini golf in the Mall of America. I was not subtle when I expressed my interest in all of the nearby ring stores, so we went to just "look." I tried on a few, liked one, batted my lashes, and boom we were FINALLY engaged! I told William that we should soak it in and hold off on telling our family for a little while, but in a Widmer boy manner, he instantly called his mom! We were so thrilled & we continued to celebrate the rest of the night at the Vikings game.
