New South Motor Inn

This is a really cool 'retro' hotel, bosting a 'blend of historic charm and modern comfort'. It comes highly recommended by the manager of the James Madison Inn (which is now unfortunately completely booked). The rooms are newly renovated and I've been told are extremely comfortable and clean. It is closer than the Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn, which are at the interstate, but even better priced than those options!

The Holiday Inn Express was recently renovated and is another option, conveniently located off Interstate 20 and about 15 minutes from Tamplin Farms.

If you are looking for something a little different for your lodging, Southern Cross is a B&B type experience set on a horse ranch, offering several different packages, including ones with horseback riding options. Southern Cross is located about 15 minutes from Tamplin Farms.
