Meghan and Matt met in January 2022 when Matt first joined the team at work. About one week after Matt started, Meghan finally decided to quit being too busy to introduce herself. She terrified Matt by coming up to him with a loud and enthusiastic “HEY! I’m Meghan!” and then proceeded to quiz him about his whole life story. Fast forward 6 months, Matt finally got the courage to ask Meghan on a date, even though she didn’t realize it was a date at the time. Over the next 2 years, these two coworkers fell in love and had no doubt that God had placed them in each others’ lives at exactly the right moment. 

On August 20th, 2024, while on a stroll at Point Lobos in Carmel to watch the sunset by the ocean, Matt popped the question. Since it was the last night of their vacation, Meghan had already internally accepted that they weren’t getting engaged that trip, so it was a big (and very welcome) surprise. The perfect proposal was followed by another great surprise of celebrating with dinner and champagne with one of Matt’s childhood friends, Dan, and his wife Rachel.
