Meghan and a bunch of her teacher friends went out for drinks and some fun to start off their spring break. Jared was invited to the same bar later in the evening by Marissa (an awesome bridesmaid). Meghan paid no attention to him the entire night until the bar closed. He then approached her at the end of the night asking for her number, to which she wasn't too keen on, but she gave it to him anyway thinking that was the end of it. Jared text her a few hours later making sure she made it home safe, and from then on, they never stopped talking

All of our friends just happened to be in town on the same weekend so we all made plans to hang out Saturday night. Jared had his dads birthday party earlier that day, which caused him to be an hour late picking Meghan up. It was storming pretty bad, and already an hour late, she did not want to go. While Jared was convincing her to come, the friends had to hurry and move the entire proposal inside because of the storm. Finally agreeing to come, they make their way to their friends house. Upon opening the front door she was greeted with a balloon arch that said "marry me", mason jars with candles inside, ALL of their friends in the living room and Bruno Mars "Marry You" playing. When she turned around, Jared was on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
