We know plenty of you are museum nerds. The Joslyn is free and open until 4 pm on Saturdays! Head there before the ceremony, or sneak in an hour of culture before the evening's revelry. The museum is right across the street from St. John's, so it couldn't be more convenient.
The Old Market is the heart of historic downtown Omaha. If it's not too cold, it will be a wonderful place to go for a stroll, do some window shopping, or to sip a glass of wine (we love La Bouvet) or hot chocolate (try Aroma's). As for directions, Wikipedia tells us that the Old Market is bounded by South 10th Street to the east, 13th Street to the west, Farnam Street to the north and Jackson Street to the South. We're pretty sure you'll find it by typing "Old Market" into your smartphone map app of choice.
We highly recommend checking out our friends Nick and Brandon's super rad home furnishings store in Midtown. We're in awe of what they've created, and you won't be sorry you stopped by! #ad
Just ten minutes away from downtown, and one of Omaha's hottest attractions! Omahans will tell you it is "the best zoo in the world". Some internet rankings (almost) agree. Perfect for the kiddos.
Come check out a place near and dear to our hearts. The heart of our neighborhood, the downtown Benson strip is located between 60th and 63rd and Maple (ish), and it's full of fun bars, breweries, and restaurants.
