It all began in March of 2021, in the middle of a genetics class and a global pandemic. We met on the IM fields at UGA for a group project—masked up, socially distanced, and totally unaware of the adventure that was about to start. After finishing up our project, we stayed outside talking and listening to music, and something just clicked. Megh asked for my number that day, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Even though we’d shared classes and had mutual friends, we somehow never crossed paths until that moment. After graduation, life took us in different directions—Megh headed to MCG, and I moved to Gainesville for a gap year before starting medical school. The distance wasn’t easy, but it brought us even closer, and when I finally started at MCG, we knew we were right where we belonged. From spontaneous sandwich dates at Knuckle’s to unforgettable roommate chaos, every chapter of our story has been filled with laughter, love, and growth. In May of 2024, Megh proposed on the Greenway trail in North Augusta—a place close to our hearts and our running shoes. It was perfect. Now, we're so excited to take on forever, side by side.
