FAQs

The Wedding Website of Meghan Whitehead and Zak Seipel
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to join us in cocktail attire to celebrate our special day. Think polished and festive—suits, sport coats, dress shirts and ties, cocktail dresses, midi or knee-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and elegant separates are all wonderful choices. Please no jeans. Our ceremony will be held outdoors at a state park, so you may want to choose footwear accordingly. Stilettos and very thin heels may sink into the lawn, so block heels, wedges, dressy flats, or stylish sandals are great alternatives.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking, a short walk to the ceremony site, and getting settled. The ceremony will begin promptly as scheduled, and we’d love for everyone to be ready when it starts!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re delighted to celebrate with our closest family and friends, and we’re happy to include significant others. If your partner is invited, their name will be listed on your invitation. We kindly ask that only those named on the invite attend. Thank you for understanding.
