FAQs

Question

What exactly is the Fetz-Keller Ranch?

Answer

The Ranch, aka the Ossola Family Farm, is a working farm that supplies a local restaurant in Telluride with fresh produce and flowers. It is also a historic property on the National Register of Historic Places. We are so lucky to be able to get married here and ask that our guests be respectful of the property, its historic nature and current activity. Please do not venture into the fields, greenhouses, or any areas not clearly associated with the wedding.

Question

I'm planning to camp at the property, what do I need to know?

Answer

Please let us know in advance if you are planning to camp. Plan to pack in your own water (we will have water during the event, of course). Port-a-potties will be available.

Question

What do I need to know about partying at high altitude?

Answer

If you are visiting from out of town, please plan to drink a LOT of water and drink less alcohol than you might at other weddings. Alcohol and other extracurriculars effects you a lot faster/more intensely at altitude and you can overdo it more quickly than you think! Hydration is key at all times, but especially at a high altitude party.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

As much as we love dogs, we ask that you leave your pooches home for this event.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is ample parking at the property, but please use your best judgement to avoid parking in the party/yard area and do not park anyone else in. Carpooling is *highly* encouraged!

Question

I'm flying in/not driving, how do I get to the property?

Answer

Unfortunately, we recommend that someone in your party rent a car. Taxis and rideshares are not readily available in Montrose. Renting a car will also allow you to explore beautiful southwest Colorado!
