We’re getting married!

We met over 14 years ago when we were both on the South Side High School varsity soccer teams. We had seen & met each other briefly at soccer parties during the 2009 season, but it wasn’t until 2010 when were paired together in beer pong that we started to develop feelings towards one another. We officially starting dating in February 2011 and the rest is really history. We both knew after that night there was something special between the two of us. Little did we know this was the beginning of a 12-year relationship filled with love, laughs and good times that we both look forward to continuing for the rest our lives.

On July 9th, what Meghan thought was a “housewarming party” to celebrate her parents new home in Aquebogue, NY, quickly turned into an engagement party when Tom got down on one knee. Meghan and Tom spent the day preparing the house with Meghan not knowing she was setting up for her own engagement party! Shortly before “guests” were expected to arrive, Tom brought Meghan out to the waters edge, got down on one knee, and popped the question. After Tom proposed (and Meghan said Yes!), all of our friends and family came to the house to celebrate. Every aspect of the day was beyond perfect, and it was truly a day and moment we will never forget.
