It was a warm summer evening as Meghan walked to her new ward's ward prayer. Just inside the door was Theo, who introduced himself right away and a friendship began. After several months, Theo finally asked Meghan out, but only two months later Theo moved down to Arizona, so things didn't progress. A few months went by and, after reconnecting at the wedding of two mutual friends, Meghan and Theo starting dating long distance.

We traveled to Ghana, Africa to celebrate Christmas with some of Theo's family. While there we took a safari on Meghan's birthday. After finding a pretty watering hole Theo knelt and proposed on the bank. After Meghan said yes, the whole family enjoyed another surprise- a wild elephant just a short walk away.
