Back in January of 2019, Meghan had just graduated college and was ready to embark on the next chapter in “her” life. She was ready to leave New York behind and start a whole new life in The Woodlands Texas. Meghan met a few friends along the way (one of those people being Sumir’s twin brother), however, all these people are who led Sumir and Meghan together. Now how does every great couple meet? On a dating app of course. In July of 2019, Sumir and Meghan both download Hinge (“the dating app designed to be deleted”). This was both Meghan and Sumir’s first time trying anything like this. After swiping left (no) so many times, one specific profile caught Meghan’s eye. Meghan thought she should swipe right (yes) hoping it would be a match. Once Meghan opened back up the app she saw a message from the guy she liked (Sumir!) and they hit it off right away. I guess you could say the happy couple had pretty good taste. After getting to know each other awhile on the app, Sumir decided to give Meghan his number. A few months go by and Sumir and Meghan have been inseparable. We knew nothing could keep them apart. Not even a global pandemic could prevent them from growing stronger. Now as they get ready to say “I do”, Meghan and Sumir couldn’t be happier to be spending this next chapter of “their” lives together for a lifetime of love and happiness and they’re excited to see what the future holds.

On Saturday July 19th, Sumir and Meghan get ready to meet family and friends in Orlando for week on a Norwegian 7-Day Cruise. Even though there were a few hiccups along the way, the trip couldn’t have been more perfect. Meghan had no idea her life was about to change. On Monday July 22nd, everyone was enjoying the pool deck , but Meghan felt a little weird and distanced from the rest of the group. While Sumir was already nervous about how everything was going to happen for the proposal, Meghan didn’t leave Sumir’s side which made it a bit diffficult for Sumir to help set everything up for his proposal. Once everyone was about to leave the pool Sumir and Meghan decide to grab something quick at the Cafe. Meghan then decided to go back to their room and get ready for dinner while Sumir left to go “meet up with the guys”. However, Sumir and Meghan ended up bumping into each other in the hallway in front of their stateroom. Sumir “thought” he had lost his phone (which was true at first) so Meghan was all worried about how he was going to get his phone back. Sumir got a call to their room to go to guest services to pick up his phone. Sumir was already ready for dinner, but Meghan was confused because before Sumir left he took his phone out of his bag, so some might say Meghan was already suspicious. Before Sumir left Meghan in their room, Sumir told her “ if the phone rings, answer it”. The phone rings and it was their friend Karlene who needed Meghan to go to her room to pick up something for her mom’s birthday celebration later in the week. This was actually true so Meghan enjoyed a glass of wine in Karlene’s room with her and her Aunt before they met up with the rest of their group. Karlene was getting a number of phone calls to her room while Meghan was there. 20 minutes go by and we’re finally ready to meet up with everyone, but Karlene walked with Meghan to her room first to drop off the gifts Karlene had given her. Meghan being so oblivious was so quick to get going, she didn’t even see the first clue to her scavenger hunt that Sumir had planned for her all around the ship. After Meghan left her room initially, someone had planted a clue on the mirror off to the right side so Meghan didn’t see it until Karlene paused and waited until Meghan noticed. LOL After Karlene and Meghan left to go find the next clue, Terrel (Sumir’s twin brother) met them in the hallway. Once all three of them found the second clue, they tried to stall as long as possible so Sumir’s mom had enough time to plant the third clue. However, they had a bit of trouble navigating around the ship. On our way to attempt in finding the final clue, we walked right into Meghan’s proposal where at this time was already too late so Karlene and Terrel decided to walk Meghan right to Sumir instead of trying to find the last clue. Sumir looked so handsome where he was standing as he was at the end of this “red carpet” with a rose in his a hand getting ready to get down on one knee. Meghan couldn’t hold back her tears the moment she saw him. Even though Meghan didn’t make it to her last clue, she was so moved that everyone came together to make her moment so special. Although we missed some of the most important people in our life to enjoy the celebration, To say it was the best week ever is an understatement!
