The place where Dr. King was shot and the crux of why Memphis is Memphis. If you have time, go. If you don't have time, drive by and at least see it. Standing outside the Lorraine will put you in your place.
Don't miss the world famous Peabody Ducks who march every day at 11am and 5pm. Go a little early in the evening and treat yourself to a cocktail in the Lobby Bar. It is gorgeous, the cocktails are yummy, and then head to the roof for a gorgeous view of the city.
Yes, that is a pyramid by the river. And yes, there is a Bass Pro Shop in it. You should go. It's crazy.
For those of you who love coffee like Meghan does, go here instead of the Starbucks 3 blocks away.
Memphis is the home of The King and no trip would be complete without paying homage.
This place is church! Memphis has a rich music history, and this little gem shouldn't be missed. The birthplace of soul!
If you want to visit Ronnie's version of Cheers, head to the HiTone. It's a grungy dive with great live music nearly every night of the week. The staff may look scary, but they're cuddly underneath, and all are family to us.
Another regular stop for us for live music, and great food and beer! Ask for a pint of local beer, grab an app and sit in the balcony if you want the Meghan & Ronnie experience!
Local Beer! What more do we need to say?
Our favorite local beer. Stop in and get a flight!
More local beer near Meghan's first home!
The place where it all began for these two. Grab a pint and order fries with whatever you get. They're the best in town. Explore Cooper-Young while you are there, the neighborhood where Ronnie lived for over 10 years.
