EGE is the closer airport, but DEN is the more economical route with more flight options. From DEN, you can hop on a shuttle serviced by Epic Mountain Express or rent a car and drive approx 2 hours to Vail. If renting a car, be sure to reserve your rental ahead of time.
The wedding is just steps from Vail Village, so it is an easy walk. If you are staying in Lionshead or elsewhere, the free bus can be a great option as well.
