We had our first date in Astoria, Queens, and by the end of it, we both knew we had found our person. It just felt easy from the very beginning. In our first couple of years together, we spent a lot of time doing the little things we loved most. We went to the park with Brie, cooked meals together, showed up for Monday night trivia, and spent quiet nights doing puzzles. Those everyday moments are some of our favorite memories. As time went on, we continued building a life together beyond Queens. We love traveling and making memories along the way. Meghan taught Patrick how to ski, and every summer we spend time at beach houses with our families. Those trips are filled with long beach days, time in the water, and Patrick proudly earning his title of “Funcle” by catching crabs and swimming with the kids. More than anything, we are each other’s biggest supporters. When Meghan decided to become a spin instructor, Patrick was the only person who showed up for her very first class and made sure she still taught it. A year and a half later, he is still there every weekend, now one of thirty people who take her class, cheering her on just like he did from the start. What started with a first date in Astoria turned into a life we are so excited to keep building. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you.
