Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Due to the unpredictable weather for tomorrow we have made the decision to have both our ceremony and reception under the pavilion. This is an indoor/outdoor space that is completely covered and will have tent sides and heaters if needed.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone’s children join us, we’ve made the decision to have an adults-only celebration.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Our wedding will be cocktail style, so please come dressed in your finest cocktail attire. Think elegant dresses or dressy separates, and sharp suits or blazers.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions with your RSVP. The kitchen staff at Tunxis will accommodate.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, transportation from the hotel to the ceremony and from the reception back to the hotel is provided. The shuttle pick up times are 3PM and 3:30PM from the hotel. The shuttle pick up times from the venue are 9:45PM and 10:15PM.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting an after party at the hotel, with late-night snacks provided and a cash bar. You do not need to RSVP for this event, but we'd love for you to join us.
