Jaime Musnicki

Maid of Honor

Jaime, aka Sissy, is Meghan's sister. While no one who knew them in their youth would describe them as "inseparable", once they both grew up their bond was undeniable. Meghan has described her 'Sissy' as one of her role models and closest confidants. Meghan also claims that Jaime is definitely the cooler one-just ask her about some of what she's done in the last 15 years of her life!

Justin Farrington

Best Man

Justin and Skip meet on the first day of high school in August 2001 and have remained best friends ever since. Their friendship predates rowing, but of course, that wouldn't last for long... Both Skip and Justin learned to row together, competed in high school and through college together, and rowed post-college together. They've shared apartments, fist fights, and all of life's lessons by each other's side. They are lifelong teammates...

Eleanor Logan

Bridesmaid

Meghan and Elle met in 2009 during Meghan's first year at the training center. While Meghan was just beginning to figure things out Elle was coming off her first, of what would end up being 3, Olympic Gold Medal performances. They soon bonded over large amounts of coffee, froyo and wine; some might say they became partners in crime...

Dave Specca

Groomsman

Dave and Skip meet while rowing at Rutgers. Both are rabid fans of Scarlet Knights Football and all things New Jersey. If there was a tandem bicycle themed pub crawl, Skip and Dave would be the Chairman and CEO. Dave is Skip's connection to all things Philadelphia, and Skip is Dave's connection to all things Buffalo... a perfect union. They are down for whatever.

Melissa Mannella

Bridesmaid

Friends since grade school Melissa and Meghan have had many life adventures together; laughter, tears, boyfriends, ex-boyfriends, keg parties (don't ask their parents about this one) weddings, funerals, olympics, children...the list goes on and on. Curious about some of the trouble they got in to? Just ask!

Ed Moran

Groomsman

Ed and Skip meet as freshman on the rowing team at Rutgers. Mischievous college students (Ed the instigator, Skip the henchman), they were joined at the hip during their time on the Banks of the Raritan. They have experienced many 'coming-of-age' stories together, with Ed always the wiser of the two. Skip is the Bull to Ed's China shop, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Thomas Missig

Bridesman

Thomas is technically Meghan's cousin but their relationship is more like brother and sister. We tried to get him a matching dress but it didn't come in his size so he settled for a suit instead.

Paul Bugenhagen

Groomsman

Paul and his wife Amy Joe were the matchmakers for Meghan and Skip. Paul knows a good catch when he sees one, so he made sure Meghan knew as well. Paul hired Skip as his assistant coach at Hobart College and has been a steady guide in his professional and personal life since. Paul has provided mentorship, leadership, and friendship to Skip during his coaching career and taught him how to be a 'professional'. Thanks Pauly!

Owen Missig

Ring Bearer

Meghan will never forget the day her Godson, Owen, was born; June 21, 2012, the day she was named to her first Olympic team!

Mackenzie Missig

Flower Girl

Kenzie and Meghan share a special bond over their love of all things pink! When Meghan asked her to be in her wedding Mackenzie immediately wanted to know, "Do I get to wear a pink dress!?"

Anthony Klockenbrink

Officiant

Tony and his wife Kathy were Meghan's "host parents" while she lived and trained in Princeton, NJ. Little did they know when Meghan moved into the house in 2010 that she wouldn't leave until 2021 (save for a few years when Meghan "retired")! After all that time the Klockenbrinks and their 3 daughters are no longer Meghan's "host" family, instead they are just "family".
