Meghan and Nash met in 2015 while attending college at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. They were both studying political science and shared a work study at the school's public policy and civic engagement center. Friendship came first - they bonded over study sessions, work, and late night board games. After a while, Nash mustered up the courage to ask Meghan out. Their first date was dinner at Bella Cucina - a St. Joe's staple, for those who know - followed by a cup of hot cocoa at the Local Blend. Meghan and Nash enjoyed a few months and a summer internship in D.C. together before taking a break while Meghan went abroad and Nash prepared to graduate. Meghan and Nash found their way back to each other quickly, rekindling a long-distance romance in 2017. Nash had moved to D.C. to become a pollster (short-lived) and Meghan was finishing up her senior year. Meghan joined Nash in D.C. after graduating, and have been inseparable ever since. Through ups and downs, different jobs, a global pandemic, grad school and more, the two of them have faced it all together. After 7 years of dating, Nash proposed to Meghan on March 29, 2025 at the National Arboretum in D.C. under the cherry blossoms. Meghan and Nash can't wait to celebrate with their favorite people.
