Michael and I were introduced by two of our friends who were dating at the time. Michael was attending Troy University in Alabama and I had just moved back to Atlanta from West Palm Beach. My girlfriend invited me to come hangout with her new boyfriend and his friend (Michael) who was coming home from college that weekend. Of course, I said yes.. well I should say reluctantly I said yes.. I’m thinking to myself: I am totally being set up on a blind date. So I threw on a cute outfit, and painted my face and rolled with it. Little did the both of us know that we would go on to spend every single weekend together until Michael graduated 2 months later. We took turns making the drive. He would come to Atlanta, and I would drive to Troy. Once Michael graduated in May of 2018 he moved back home to Marietta and we started officially dating. High on love and life, we both knew this was forever. As time passes on and we fast forward a few months, Michael and I found out some news that would forever change our life. I should say it was one of the best and scariest days of our life. "I’M PREGNANT!" As we nervously told our parents, who by the way, have supported us unconditionally; we began to plan our future. We moved out and got a place together, Michael got an amazing job, and we prepared to become mother & father to the most amazing little boy Everett. Michael proposed on January 26th 2019, the day before my birthday. He so thoughtfully planned out the perfect day as I was 8 months pregnant and not feeling the best. He sent me to the nail salon, the spa for an amazing prenatal massage, and ended the night with dinner in the city at the Sundial. I thought to myself wow this day couldn’t get any better... But it did. Michael got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Easiest yes I have ever said!!!!!! Fast forward a little, on March 19th 2019, Everett came into our lives and has stolen our hearts. The rest of our love story is to be continued..... ❤️
