Helpful Euro Travel Tips!
Travel documents needed: Spain- USA passport valid for at least 3 months post departure date. No visa requirement for less than 90 days United Kingdom- USA passport valid for at least 3 months post departure. ETA visa required https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply. Visa lasts 2 years. It is recommended to apply as soon as possible. Netherlands- USA passport valid for at least 3 months post departure. Valencia airport- Address: Carretera del Aeropuerto, s/n 46940 Manises Valencia, España Transportation from airport: Metrovalencia: líneas 3 and 5 go into the city línea 5 goes to the ocean. Busses are also available. Recommended to get a SUMO pass/ card to be able to use the metro, tram and bus systems. Inner city transportation will be metro, tram and bus. ALWAYS SCAN YOUR CARD they have police that check tickets on most trains. Free now: similar to uber and Lyft. Download the app before you get to Spain. Probably the best option to take to the venue. Things to note: Cash is not widely used. Bring some in case but primarily card and tap to pay are preferred. Apple wallet or another tap to pay phone feature is highly recommended for Spain and UK. Most metro stations in the EU will accept tap to pay fare. Euros are accepted anywhere in the EU. The UK does not accept Euros you will need GBP. (Republic of Ireland is independent and uses Euros)
