We met at a bar in Royal Oak when we were both out with friends. Meghan walked into Mike on purpose after sharing a couple glances across the room. Conversation came easily and we closed the neighboring bar down talking until 2AM. With each date after that, it seemed that more and more mutual friends and experiences came up. So despite never having met before that night in the bar, we discovered we had been in the same places at the same time several times throughout our lives. Growing up in neighboring towns, we had frequented the same local groceries, restaurants and parks. We still laugh today about the fact that we ended up meeting randomly at a bar after all that.
