Where is the wedding?

Answer

There will be a brief ceremony followed by a reception that will take place in our home, right in our backyard. Food will be catered by Chiavettas BBQ and we will have an open bar. Bring your dancing shoes!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wear what you are comfortable in, be mindful that beginning of August can be very hot and we will be outdoors. Night time can get chilly at times so make sure to dress accordingly. Ladies, be mindful that we will have a wood dancefloor but majority of our space is grass and can be damp if we get rain prior to the day of the wedding. Wearing thin heels may not be the best choice of shoes!

How far is airport?

Answer

For those flying in for the weekend, Buffalo Niagara International Airport is 20 minutes from our home and about 5-10 from the hotels we have reserved. Check in times are usually fairly quick, if you are flying home the day after the wedding we do suggest leaving yourself 1-2 hours just to be on the safe side. Enjoy a drink at the anchor bar in the terminal if you’re early!

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Answer

We will have room blocks set at Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst & the Mosey Hotel from Friday to Sunday the weekend of the wedding. Room block links will be provided at a later date, stay tuned on this site where they will be posted! If you chose to stay elsewhere, there are several other hotel, air bnb and VRBO options in the Buffalo area. We recommend if you are choosing your own hotel or home, staying anywhere in Buffalo/Amherst or Tonawanda to be closer to our home where the wedding is taking place.

Will the pool be open?

Answer

YES! All night long!

Will transportation to and from the wedding be provided?

Answer

There will be transportation to and from the hotels on our site. There will not be transportation after the after party. If you plan on staying somewhere other than our listed hotels, you may choose to take your own vehicle but please be mindful of limited street parking so carpooling is encouraged! There are also ample Ubers and Lyfts in the area.
