Meghan's profile said she liked to cook (she's really doesn't like it that much), Melissa offered to be her sous chef. Neither ever expected to find love on Tinder but here we are celebrating their love. They had their first date at Slumbrew (obviously a brewery), it was comedy night and Melissa pulled out all the stops. When you're friend is the owner you get top notch seats and service. Neither was much a fan of the comedy that night, but they were pretty into each other. It wasn't long after that first date that they both knew that this was it.

About a week before Melissa proposed she said let's go out on a date night at their favorite restaurant. Meghan jokingly scoffed and said "What? Are you going to propose to me." And Melissa ever so calmly said "NO" But on the inside she panicked a little. Fast forward one week. They had dinner reservations at Dali, a Spanish tapas restaurant in Somerville. Meghan said "Let's have a nice slow dinner," so they sat and enjoyed several courses of tapas with a pitcher of delicious sangria. Melissa insisted that they get a dessert menu despite knowing what they wanted for dessert (the obvious choice of churros). That's when the waitress came over with 1 dessert menu and presented Meghan with a photo book. She looked up at Melissa, knowing what was happening, and said "I have to go to the bathroom." To which Melissa responded " No way. Sit down and look at that book." They looked through the photo book together, at the end, Melissa asked Meghan to marry her and presented the ring. Meghan said yes. Little did they know, that wasn't the end of the surprises. The restaurant staff came out with a dancing frog candlestick, playing the tambourine, and singing "she said yes! she said yes!" Meghan was mortified. Melissa was delighted.
