Matt had the ring for a good six months before he finally found the right moment to propose. The couple gathered with friends for their annual "Friendsmas" celebration and Matt popped the question during his turn in the middle of a game of Fishbowl. The premise for this round: you get one word, no actions, to get your team to guess the buzzword. Matt said "ring" as his one word clue and got down on one knee . Oblivious to the fact that he was, indeed, holding a ring and very serious, Meghan was all-consumed by competitive spirit and accused him of cheating in the game since no actions are allowed and kneeling counted as an action. It took her a minute before she realized he had a shiny diamond in his hand. Laughter abound, she said yes, of course.
