FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to us directly at 973-943-1210 prior to the wedding.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We understand we are VERY late in sending out our wedding invitations. We would love to know who we will see in October by September 25th but if you need more time to confirm your plans, please just send us an email at mlynch082@gmail.com or call/text 973-943-1210.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask guests to be in their seats by 5:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach casual. We are VERY excited to confirm Luke will be in pants and a button down shirt instead of shorts and a backwards hat so plan according to THOSE standards ;)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! This is a very family friendly event and we will have an area with some activities for the children towards the back of the patio. If you require a high-chair, please email/text us so we can let the restaurant know in advance.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

La Jolla Shores Hotel has a parking garage available onsite at a rate of $28/day. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood but availability is limited and timing is everything. La Jolla Shores Parking is a free parking lot .2 miles/4 minute walk from The Shores Restaurant. The exact GPS location is 8324 La Vereda, La Jolla CA 92037. Availability is first come, first serve and there are ample parking spots available in the off-season/after-hours but please be prepared since this is a holiday weekend.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We invite all our guests to come over to our house on Saturday afternoon for a bbq. This is a casual and fun way for us to continue to catch up with anyone we didn't get to spend enough time with the night before. We will also be extending an invite to some friends who are not coming to the wedding. There is no need to RSVP for the bbq but please let us know if you have any questions around it. Details are located in the SCHEDULE tab.

Question

What health & safety precautions are being made?

Answer

While there is no “zero risk” when it comes to any kind of group gathering, we are working hard to reduce the risks involved. We plan to follow California State Guidelines in regards to Covid-19 protocol. At this time, masks are not required in outdoor spaces and our entire event will take place in a well-ventilated outdoor setting. However, should you wish to wear a mask, we encourage you to do so. We made the decision to hold 2 small ceremonies to celebrate our marriage & therefore allow more proximity between guests. You are invited to our family celebration & we will celebrate with friends on a separate date to keep gathering sizes minimal. That being said, there are a number of immunocompromised guests (including the bride) in attendance & in consideration for the health & safety of ALL of our guests, please plan to be fully vaccinated by September 23 or test negative for COVID within 72 hours of October 8th.
