Jordan and Meghan connected via Hinge. A liked picture by Jordan on Meghan's profile soon turned into a conversation of whether or not pickles deserve to be a food. (Jordan is a yes. Meghan is a HARD NO). After a few weeks of silly conversation, they agreed to meet in person for a drink. The pair met for the first time in person at On Tap Bar in Essex Junction, VT where they talked about life goals, breweries, hobbies, and love of family. Things were going so well that when Jordan left to use the bathroom, Meghan facetimed her friend to tell her how much fun she was having. This friend told her to immediately hang up and not to call friends in the middle of first dates. (Great advice). After this date, the two quickly became BFFs. Hiking, adventuring, trying new things, cooking, walking, etc. Good thing too, COVID-19 shut everything down again and the couple became quarantine buddies. Game nights, Celtics games, Makai cuddles, and working out became the new norm at home for Meghan and Jordan. Jordan met Meghan's family virtually for the first time when her brother hosted a virtual trivia night. Quite the way to make an impression. Overtime, Meghan and Jordan have completely embedded themselves into each other's lives. They've been there for each other through big life changes involving work, friendships, and military training. They've supported each other to reach personal goals and try new things. In 2024, Jordan asked Meghan to marry him when they visited the Colchester Causeway at the end of the summer. Jordan asked Meghan to help him film promo footage for his company Beta. Jordan: "The plane is going to fly over the Causeway. I figured we could get some food and play a game while I film." Meghan: "Yes! That sound's great! When they arrived, they picked a perfect film spot and ate yummy food. After, Jordan said he’d set up the game. Instead, Jordan pulled out a deck of Pokémon cards and told Meghan to open the pack. Inside was a card asking her to marry him. Card: "Will You Marry Me? If you say yes, you will gain a player two forever" Meghan of course said, “YES!!!” If you made it this far...Let's CELEBRATE!!!
