Question

When should I arrive & depart?

Answer

You're welcome to stay as long as you would like but please note that the resort requires a 3 night minimum stay. Our discounted promocode rates are valid from Check in: November 18, 2025 - Check out: November 26, 2025. To join all wedding events, we recommend arriving no later than November 20, 2025.

When is the deadline to book a room?

Answer

The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is September 3, 2025. Any modifications after September 3 will cancel your current reservation and it will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which will be much higher as the wedding date approaches. Also, make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged ~30 days before your arrival. Your reservation will be canceled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired or if your bank blocks the payment if they detect it as fraud.

Question

How to modify my reservation?

Answer

You are not able to modify your reservation online. If you try to modify online, you will lose your reservation. You will have to call the Call Center for any changes. The number to call is 1-866-211-6223. When calling the Call Center, it will have 3 different menu options. First menu options (press 2) Press 1 if you are a member of the Excellence Collection Rewards program Press 2 if you are NOT a member of the Excellence Collection Rewards program Second menu options (press 1) Press 1 for room only reservations and general information Press 2 for flight + hotel reservations Press 3 for concierge services Press 4 for Spa services Third menu options (press 2) Press 1 to book a new reservation Press 2 to modify a reservation Press 3 to cancel an exsisting reservation Press 4 to check the status of your payment To view or cancel your reservation, you can visit the Finest website, click Manage Reservations at the top of the website, enter your reservation number and booking email to access your reservation details.

Is this resort safe?

Answer

Finest is a gated community so there are multiple gates you have to enter to get in to the property. The drivers have to show their badge and to be let in at each gate. To get through the gate at finest, the driver has to tell the security your last names, they have to find your name on the list of incoming guests before they will even let you in the property. Because it’s a gated area, the beach is private and there are zero locals walking on the beach/selling things.

Do I have to stay on the resort?

Answer

Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the premises.

How to RSVP

Answer

To RSVP locate the 'RSVP' tab on this site and follow the steps. Please include any guest that will be attending any of the wedding events. Please include any dietary restrictions you may have.

Should I book Finest suites/finest Club or Excellence Club suites?

Answer

If you have kids coming under 18, you would have to book a Finest room. If you do not have any children under 18 and would like to be on the adults only side, I would suggest an Excellence room!

What are the differences between the rooms?

Answer

There are 3 different suite levels: Finest suites, Finest Club suites, and Excellence Club suites. Rooms with the word “club” are suites with these special benefits and perks: -1 complimentary aqua hydrotherapy circuit treatment at the Spa -access to 2 additional club restaurants -access to the club pools and club beach areas -upgraded premium liquor in your suite -plus other perks listed on their website Finest Club suites are family friendly! Excellence Club suites are adult only, 18+ only.

What is the resort dress code?

Answer

All restaurants at Finest require a certain dress code. Please visit the resort website or click https://www.finestresorts.com/cancun/finest-playa-mujeres/flavor-and-spirits/ to see the different type of dress code required at each restaurant.
