My name is Ida Ang and I met Helena in our freshman year at UIUC! Fun fact everyone thought we were dating and when Helena came out to me I was like “cool” very awkwardly. I met Meghan much later when they visited me all the way in Ithaca, NY when I was in grad school. My hobbies are taking care of my cat, Misty, knitting, crocheting, and drawing.

Hi! I’m Mina, and I live in Milwaukee with my fiancé Joey and our son, Ezra. Meghan and I met the summer before starting high school and have shared many meaningful seasons of life since. Throughout high school we spent countless hours together - pool parties at her house, spontaneous Panera meet ups, and traveling to concerts that became some of our favorite memories. We stayed closely connected throughout college, visiting each other often, and eventually both found our way to the Midwest. Meghan is kind, silly, hardworking, and a truly thoughtful listener. She has always been someone I could turn to, especially in moments when the Midwest felt far from home. Over the years, I’ve loved watching her relationship with Helena grow. They bring out the best in each other and have created a home that is warm, welcoming, and full of community. They host beautiful gatherings, bring friends together, and make everyone feel included. I’m so grateful to celebrate this milestone and stand beside Meghan as she begins this next chapter.

Helena and Julie go way back... Like thirty years back! Six years apart, but forever bonded by countless sleepovers and making twizzler-legged spider cupcakes together. Julie works as a Children's Librarian and has two kids, one of whom is lucky to be Helena's Godchild.

I’m Emily (aka Mily)! My husband, Nick, and I are both middle school educators in upstate NY and big fans of God, travel, and sports (golf, pickleball, basketball, Dallas Cowboys). Meghan & I met when we played soccer and basketball together in 7th grade at Holy Family Junior High, and we’ve been best friends ever since then! We loved that Carson (my maiden name) and Cleary were always together in yearbooks, seating charts, locker assignments, and other school related activities. I cherish so many memories with Meghan (Cleary Christmas parties, Pie Day, cruising around in the mini van, sporting events, laughing A LOT, sleepovers, singing together, school dances, trips, pool days, turkey trots, visits during college, fun at Harris Hill, birthdays, weddings, reunions in the Midwest, and more). Meghan’s friendship has been such a blessing to my life - I love that she is a safe space to be your absolute silliest self, your deep vulnerable self, and everything in between. If you know Meghan, it is guaranteed that you’ve felt loved, felt heard, and had a crazy amount of fun! I’m looking forward to making more memories and having more crazy fun at Meghan & Helena’s wedding!
