Back in September 2018, Harrison Baldwin set out on a mission to make a run-of-the-mill Blue Jackets preseason game into one of the most memorable nights of Meghan O'Neal's whole life. Little did she know, Harrison was fumbling with a ring in his pocket the entire game, nervously checking every five minutes to make sure he had not dropped it on the sticky concrete floor of the arena. After a LaBatt Blue or two and the purchase of a brand new Blue Jackets jersey at the gift shop, the time had come to pop the question. Under the clever ruse of a cute couple's photo in front of the team's Civil War-era cannon, Harrison handed his phone off to an usher who, as a credit to her incredible presence of mind, switched it to video quickly enough to film the moment he dropped to his knee and asked Meghan to marry him. The shock on her face tells all the rest of the story of that night and the months that have since followed.
