Meghan and George met the modern way through Match.com. After checking out each other’s profiles for several days, George reached out with a witty message. Meghan loved his humor and sarcasm and they immediately clicked. After texting for about a week, George arranged their first date at Spasso Restaurant in Old City. The date was full of mishaps. Meghan left her debit card with the parking lot attendant and hobbled through the night in terribly uncomfortable shoes. She also became a mute at dinner which led to George filling in with conversation. Luckily he saw her nerves and hung in there through the rest of the night. After dinner the pair walked down to Penn’s Landing and spent some time by the water. George left his phone where they had been sitting and needed to run back to retrieve it while Meghan waited on the corner since she could barely walk due to her shoes. They ended the night at an amateur piano bar. Despite all of the mishaps, there was a spark and both Meghan and George knew this was just the beginning of something special. After several months of dating, their Brady Bunch crew met. Their kids immediately bonded and still to this day love each other and enjoy each other’s company. Leo gained a role model and big brother in Braden and the girls have gotten close over the years. Collin rounds out the bunch with his giant smile and positive attitude! He keeps us all laughing! George and Meghan enjoy traveling and experiencing new things together. They have been to Eleuthera, Niagara Falls, the Food and Wine Festival, a Caribbean Cruise, St. Lucia, and many other weekend trips. The family has also enjoyed trips to Great Wolf Lodge, Disney World, and Universal Studios. During their free time you can find George and Meghan involved in several house projects, headed out to eat, or catching up on their favorite shows. Every minute together has been a blessing and they appreciate the time they get to spend together.

Meghan and George went to St. Lucia to celebrate their fourth anniversary! They stayed at a gorgeous micro resort with stunning views. The couple planned a romantic dinner on the dock for the first night they arrived. The sun had just set and white lights were giving off light on the dock. George told Meghan he wanted to get a photo of them. Instead of just taking a selfie like he normally did, George spent time trying to get the perfect shot. He wanted to be sure the lighting was just right. Meghan started to wonder what was going on. George then set the timer on his phone, set the phone down and turned around and got down on one knee. He asked Meghan to marry him and she immediately said “yes”! They have been walking on cloud nine ever since! We are both so happy and excited to share our special day with you and look forward to seeing you at our wedding!
