In 2009, Meghan and Fabricio joined the MTHS School of Rock Club for varying reasons--for Meghan it was to try something new and for Fabricio it was because his cousin Zach told him to. In the School of Rock club, he played guitar and she sang. They worked on a few songs together and enjoyed lots of down time during rehearsal, where they both got to know each other. During spring break, Meghan decided to work up the courage to ask Fabricio for his phone number so she could get to know him better. Afterwards, the pair talked & texted for hours--getting to know more about each other. After a School of Rock Practice, Meghan and Fabricio started officially dating and the rest, as they say, is history!

On Christmas 2016, Fabricio surprised Meghan with a trip to Santa Monica, CA in the summer of 2017! Their accommodations were a few blocks away from the famous Santa Monica pier and they spent the first day biking through Santa Monica/Venice Beach and parasailing in Marina del Ray. It was easily one of the best days--full of sunshine and lots of laughter! The next day the pair decided to get breakfast on the pier, since there was less people and it was a great spot to start a beautiful Saturday together. They got breakfast and walked to the end of the pier to take in the amazing views of Santa Monica's beaches. Fabricio then asked a random passerby to take a picture--Meghan got ready to take the picture and before she knew it, Fabricio was on one knee with a ring box in his hands asking her to be his wife--of course she said yes!
