M&D Tips to Hiking: - Bring water, sunscreen and bug spray - Carry a bear bell and/or bear spray with you. These can be purchased in town at Yellowstone Sports & Gifts or any similar store - Download the map prior to heading out from AllTrails as service will be limited - Use Google Maps to get to trailhead, not Apple Maps. Trail recommendations: 1. Passage Falls - 5mi, 623ft elevation, out & back. 2. Suce Creek Trail #44 / Suce Creek West Trail #450 Loop - 5.9mi, 1,459ft elevation, loop. 3. Livingston Peak Trail - 7.3mi, 3,156ft elevation, out & back 4. Pine Creek Lake - 11mi, 3,635ft elevation, out & back. Absolutely gorgeous, but an a$$ kicker. Hikes along a river with various falls and rapids throughout. Even if you only got up part way such as 2-3mi or 5mi, it's worth it and only 25 min from town. Picture above is from it!
