Meghan & Drew met in 2017. Meghan had just started her freshman year at Saint Louis University (SLU), and Drew had moved into his first college apartment as a junior at SLU. In this phase of life, Drew loved throwing elaborate themed parties; Meghan and her new best friends from the Micah learning community loved a good theme & any excuse to dance! One fall evening, the Micah’s heard about a “Skype interview party” at the Coronado apartments. Meghan & her friends quickly got dressed in theme & made their way across Lindell Blvd. The Micah’s danced & danced & danced, until everyone had either gone home or fallen asleep. At around 1am, Drew found a girl in a Jcrew button down shirt & Lululemon shorts dancing by herself in his living room. He quickly joined her and danced into the early hours of the morning. Meghan & Drew continued to run into each other on campus and the dance floor throughout the fall semester. On December 1, 2017, Drew asked Meghan to be his girlfriend, after dancing (& singing) Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You”. They first traveled to Portugal together in 2018; adopted a dog & cat and moved into their first home together in 2020; and got engaged in 2023. They can’t wait to celebrate their marriage with their closest family & friends in Portugal in 2025!
