Is the wedding still happening, considering COVID?
Answer
Unfortunately, no - as of July 13, due to both the continued and extended risk of COVID-19, as well as changes to military travel regulations, Dominic and Meghan have - upon deep consideration - have made the decision to cancel our originally planned Milwaukee wedding, and we will be holding a small California Weekend Get-Away Wedding for our immediate family members and close friends who are able to join us safely. We are saddened to not be able to share this day with everyone we would want to be there with us, but are so excited to be able to still make this commitment to each other, and feel confident in our decision knowing that everyone we love will be supporting us that day in safety. We hope to hold an informal celebration gathering with extended family members and friends in Wisconsin sometime in the future when it is appropriate and safe. Thank you all for your support and help as we make this shift in our plans and as we make this lifetime commitment to each other!
