Yeah…sorry about that. Coach Prime and the CU Buffs football team are basically top-tier celebrity status around Boulder, and there is a home game the weekend of our wedding (rude). On the bright side, if you’re into college football, rumor has it the games are a blast to attend!
All kids are invited and encouraged to come to the Welcome Party! It is located at a park with a playground and plenty of games to keep them entertained. While we love celebrating with your little ones, our reception location has limited space. If you are planning to bring your kiddo and we have not talked to you specifically, please reach out! We are able to help with coordination of care.
YES! Drink plenty of water before arriving to avoid getting altitude sickness.
Typically it's awesome, however, Colorado weather can be erratic. We highly recommend checking those weather apps to make sure you're prepared and dressed accordingly!
We highly encourage guests to use the provided shuttle service. The shuttle will begin picking up guests from the Comfort Inn and Suites listed in the lodging section at 3:00 PM and will transport everyone to the ceremony and reception locations. Please note that parking at the ceremony site is extremely limited. The venue is located along a public, popular hiking and sightseeing trail, with very few available parking spots directly at the ceremony site. For the reception, Velvet Elk is located in downtown Boulder, where additional street and structure parking is available and typically free on Sundays.
