We're Getting Married!

Meghan and Austin met as neighbors in the townhomes at Western Michigan University, where Meghan lived with her 5 best friends and Austin lived with his. The bond of 1111 Greenwood and 1119 Greenwood was strong and they all quickly became friends. Flash forward many years and life changes, Meghan was living in Brooklyn, NY when Austin had planned a trip to visit his friend in Manhattan. After a slight miscommunication with his friend, Austin realized he was not going to have a place to stay in NYC at all, as his friend would be out of town. The idea of meeting up in the city while Austin was there quickly turned into a weekend of Austin visiting Meghan in Brooklyn and a weekend of fun that set them up for the rest of their lives. Finding a mutual connection in their love of family, spontaneous travel, and a local dive bar, Meghan and Austin began their long distance relationship. Exploring Detroit and New York together, while also finding time to see what Paris, Milan, London, and Edinburgh are all about. Austin got down on one knee at Domino Park in Brooklyn, NY - the first place Meghan took him to explore in the city. They'll celebrate their love and marriage in Detroit. And their love will continue across two cities. To all of our guests, we are so excited to celebrate with you!
