This historic city market stretches four blocks and is a great place to find local hand-crafted goods. From Sweetgrass baskets to jewelry the market has it all. Its also a great place to grab a quick bite to eat with several food stops throughout!!
The horse drawn carriage tours are typically found near the Market, with several touring company's to choose from, all of which provide a great way to sit back and enjoy a narrated tour of the city. These guides go through a grueling training period and can only begin giving tours when they know the city's history up & down. Its a great way to get some history of the city in, enjoy the beauty of Charleston and take a break from walking in the low country heat!
A bit farther out of town than Folly, but Sullivan's Beach also offers a beautiful beach with a close downtown area to grab a bit to eat after a long day in the sun!
