Notes of Traveling to Alaska

Whether you’re making a big trip out of it or just coming to the wedding, we will try to make things as simple as possible. If you fly into Anchorage and choose to drive down to Homer, I’m sure you can google car rentals. The drive down is around 4 to 5 hours (or more for stops). It’s a simple drive and beautiful to boot. If you are going to fly into Homer be mindful of flight times when getting into Anchorage and leaving to come to Homer. Sometimes the airlines don’t make it convenient. Ravn Air is the only airline that flies to Homer. It’s a small, loud plane but you get juice and a cookie during the 40 minute flight! Please check with Ravn Air for flight times.
