Our Story
Meghan and Elijah met during their freshman orientation weekend at Martin Luther College. They remained friends for nearly eight months before Elijah asked Meghan out on a date--only for her to turn him down! A few weeks later, though...she realized her mistake and decided to make it right. After a successful first date at Happy Joe's Pizzeria, the rest was history. One year, six months, and seventeen days after their first date, Elijah took Meghan out for a sushi lunch, followed by a walk through their favorite spot: Flandrau State Park. In the midst of the fall leaves and sunset, Elijah proposed. They couldn't be happier to start this next chapter together!
