Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Save the Dates went out in December 2024, if we had your address. If not, you should have received a text message from us requesting address information in order to send the invite. Formal Invitations were sent out in early February. Please RSVP as soon as you are able, but by April 15, 2025 at 5:00pm at the latest, so that we have an accurate head count for the venue. This is a hard deadline, we will not be able to accept RSVP’s after this date.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We love that you want to contribute a gift to us for the big day! Our registry is available on this website and at Amazon. We have both individual cash funds that you may contribute what you wish to or physical gift ideas on Amazon. We greatly appreciate your support of our union and your generosity!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm. Please arrive at lest 15 minutes early to secure parking and find a seat.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal attire. No jeans or attire with holes. We’re near the beach, so dress for the weather and please consider wearing or bringing comfortable shoes.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If a plus one is not listed on your invitation, please confirm with us if you have been allocated a guest. If a plus one is not listed, we may be able to accommodate an additional guest if we have advance notice.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask for no children in attendance. If your child was not listed on the invitation, please secure a baby sitter for the evening.

What hotels do you recommend?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are being hosted by the Hyatt Place who has a room block available for our event. Additionally, we have secured room blocks at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and the Dewey Beach House Hotel. These options are both in Dewey Beach, DE within 10 minute walking distance of our venue. Please see our travel tab for more information on how to book with one of our room blocks.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have dietary restrictions or an allergy please let us know well in advance so that we can arrange separate accommodations with the venue. We are having a plated meal with set menu options. Choices were sent out with our formal invitation in early February.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free parking is available at the Hyatt for guests (see booking information for more details). Metered parking is available outside the hotel. If you are staying in Dewey Beach, DE many of the hotels offer free parking with your stay and are within walking distance of our venue. We recommend using a rideshare service to or from the venue if you are staying further away and/or plan to partake in the open bar.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, if you are staying outside of Dewey Beach, DE we kindly ask that you arrange your own transportation to and from the venue. We have on-site hotel block accommodations available with our venue as well as other blocks within reasonable walking distance if you chose to book accommodations in Dewey Beach, DE.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we have booked a bon fire on the beach directly outside of the Hyatt to take place once the ceremony comes to a close. This event is for those who are not joining the bar crawl, but still want to enjoy time with family and friends. Please be aware that no open containers of alcohol are permitted on the beach as it is public property. We are also hosting a farewell breakfast the morning after the wedding prior to checkout. Breakfast is free for guests of the Hyatt. For guests close by, it is $10.00 to come enjoy the farewell breakfast and wish us well before we jet off to our honeymoon destination.

Do you have a photo gallery?

Answer

Yes! We will have QR Codes available during the event to scan for guests to upload both photos and videos of the event. Please feel free to share your memories with us, the more the merrier!
