Boston and many of its environs have each formed the center of our adult lives. Meghan-Elizabeth works along Boston's scenic downtown waterfront and grew up outside of the city, near the starting point for the Boston Marathon. Jon works in Boston's historic Back Bay and went to college right outside of the city. We had our first date at a restaurant in Boston's financial district, towards the end of which Jon relayed to Meghan-Elizabeth that he was a 'hero' and she still agreed a second date. Our relationship formed during (and survived) Jon's last semester of law school, the bar exam and moving to 4 different apartments over the course of 4 years. It endured despite starkly contrasting views regarding the deliciousness of lobster. We grew together through colorful New England autumns, white winters, and the brief Boston springs and summers. Together, is how we know Brookline and Cambridge, Brighton and Yarmouth, and together is how we now see Boston. We are so excited to begin the next stage of our journey together. In classic fashion, it begins after moving once more, a year-and-a-half ago, to the next Boston suburb that we get to explore together!
