Meggie started working at DR Horton in the fall of 2021. There were many names of superintendents to learn but a last name like Musslewhite is hard to mix up. It wasn't everyday with that a new stormwater girl was hired either. Meggie quickly understood why Craig was her supervisor's second favorite superintendent. However, Meggie was resolute on not dating any of her new construction co-workers. In Spring of 2022, Meggie had a tag-along, her dog Lila, one day during her field visits to the neighborhoods. Craig was getting his to-do list through the car window, when a wet dog nose reached out and poked him from the backseat. That's when Craig saw his opportunity to pitch a playdate for Lila and his dog, Charlie. Meggie and Craig quickly bonded through their shared love of dogs and Texas A&M. The resolution to not date superintendents fell to the wayside. Meggie likes to imagine that it was a secret for longer than it actually was. It didn't help that Craig would tell anyone who would listen.
