We're getting married!

We met the old fashioned way, poor Chris met me after I had been traveling twenty-seven hours and the only sleep I had was in a car with two dogs. I got back to my mother's house and was able to change and head out to help load up the U-haul so my friend could drive back to Texas with all of her things. Chris was the muscle, and the first thing I thought was man that poor truck! His gray dodge ram truck had seen better days, little did I know that I would fall in love with the truck and the man who drove it. Chris and I had an instant connection I knew right away that he was at the vey least gong to be a great friend. We went to dinner that night with our friend and spent the entire night monopolizing the conversation. Chris was a gentleman and paid for dinner. We went to say goodbye and Chris walked up to my window and I though he was going to ask for my number.... he did NOT! I was disappointed but when my friend and I got back to my place I pestered her for his contact information and she relent. I then reached out to Chris and thank goodness he excepted my friend request! We spent the next 3 hours talking non-stop! I finally put the phone down when my eyelids refused to open! Chris will tell you that he was planning to ask our friend for my contact information but that I was too impatient, when you know you know! Chris and I spent the next 6 weeks getting to know one another, we talked on the phone a lot. We saw each other a couple of time before we deiced to officially date! In the last 7 years and some change we have had many adventures, we have been to Virginia and Florida for family vacations, many nights spent driving in the truck conversing, dinner dates, movie dates, wedding dates, and many others. We are both so lucky that I was impatient ;)
