The wedding, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is located at 3550 Ashley River Road (On Route 61) in Charleston, South Carolina. Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on the Ashley River, set against a backdrop of century-old live oaks (weather permitting). Afterward, we'll move just steps from the marsh for our cocktail hour and reception at Magnolia's Carriage House.
Many of our guests are choosing to stay in rental houses on Folly Beach, which is about 30 minutes from our venue. If you’d prefer to stay a bit closer to the celebration, there are also great hotel options in downtown Charleston and the surrounding area. Please take a look at the Travel tab for a list of recommendations and choose whichever option suits you best!

Early April in Charleston is typically mild and sunny, so please dress comfortably for the open air. We'd love to see you in florals, bright hues, or soft pastels to capture the spirit of the Lowcountry! We also ask that our guests avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride (white, ivory, cream, etc).
Please arrive by 5:00 PM to allow time for parking and finding your seat before our 5:30 PM ceremony begins.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your RSVP will be made out to “{Your Name} & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.
Although we love your kids, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family” if your children have been invited. You can also refer to the ‘RSVP’ tab to see if we were able to accommodate your children.
