FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place at The Lodge at Cathedral Pines, conveniently located just 20 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. Address: 13977 Milam Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908

Question

When's the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please let us know if you're coming on or before September 1st, 2026. You can do this online on our website or by emailing Megan at mwhalen92@gmail.com.

Question

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

We adore your tiny humans, but we’ve decided to make this an adults-only expedition. Think of it as a forced vacation—leave the diaper bags at home, grab a cocktail, and enjoy a night!

Question

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

To keep things intimate (and because our venue isn't a stadium), we are only able to accommodate the names specifically listed on your invitation. If your invite doesn't mention a guest, we promise there will be plenty of friendly faces to keep you company. If you're still confused, Megan and Josh are happy to chat!

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes! You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (). If you'd like to help us kick off our marriage with a bang, we are currently prioritizing contributions to our honeymoon fund!

Question

Is there parking available at the Venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue. We recommend giving yourself a buffer just in case.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The vibe is Cocktail Attire. We’re going for "classy enough for photos, but comfortable enough to drop it low on the dance floor." Also, remember: as the sun goes down the temperature drops, especially in Colorado. The venue has plenty indoor and outdoor space for everyone.

Question

Will I get altitude sickness?

Answer

We’re in the mountains, so we suggest you hydrate. Also Colorado Springs is at a higher altitude than Denver. In general, alcohol hits differently at this altitude. So be prepared by hydrating a few days before (and during) the big event.
