We would love for our special day to be surrounded by our closest friends and family. If you received a plus one, it will be on the invitation. We can only accommodate those formally invited.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire in our chosen colour scheme (see Attire tab). Kindly be mindful of the Catholic Church dress codes as well- dress modestly. Please reserve white for the bride and Barong Tagalog for the groom & groomsmen. Ladies are recommended to wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses in olive green, forrest green, copper, rust terracotta (think fall/rustic). Once again, please dress modestly (shoulders/back covered & avoid short/mini dresses) Gentlemen, please wear a suit & tie. Absolutely no jeans please! Please refer to this s aguide if you are unfamiliar with formal attire: https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire
We recommend you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. This will allow lots of time to find a seat and settle in before the excitement begins!
Yes! We love our little ones and our day would not be complete without them. Please keep in mind the ceremony is also a catholic mass which is approx. 1 hour. We want everyone to have a joyful experience that day, please help us do that by not letting the kids run around and helping them stay quiet during important moments.
Our wedding will be a little bit untraditional and elopement style. Our focus and what's important to us as a couple is the ceremony in the catholic church. There will be no formal reception to follow. We plan to have some snacks and refreshments available after the ceremony; we request guests stay until we personally thank you and take pictures. The celebration isn't only one day though; we are definitely looking forward to all the future dinners and night outs with the rest of our family and friends.
We recommend finding a hotel/airbnb/vrbo in the Richmond area. We will not be doing any hotel blocks. There a lots of options to choose from in the Richmond. Let us know if we can help you in any way.
The church ceremony will be held at St. Paul's Parish - 8251 St Albans Rd, Richmond. Since most of our guests are local we are not creating any hotel room blocks and you will be responsible for your transportation to the venue. If you need any assistance, please reach out to us and we will try our best to accomodate.
Yes! St. Paul Parish has ample parking.
We will be having an unplugged church ceremony as we would love to see your smiling faces present with us. We ask that you turn off your devices and let our amazing photographers take the lead. However, please feel free to snap and share a selfie with us after the ceremony.
We are so thankful that you would take time out of your busy schedules to come celebrate our love. Your presence is the best gift you could give us, but if you wish to honour us with a gift, we would appreciate cash gifts that go towards our honeymoon and growing our home.
