We're getting Married!

We'd like to think it was fate :). We happened to both be at a local sushi bar on the night of 5/14/14 celebrating two different occasions: Justin getting a new job and Megan officially being halfway through college! Funny thing is, instead of the two of us hitting it off first, two of our friends sitting next to each other had the initial spark. After a few sake bombs, one conversation led to another and before you know it, we ended up being a wingman/woman for our two friends. We spent hours getting to know each other and sharing endless laughs, which led us to exchange numbers. A couple days later, Justin invited Megan to a beer-pong “tournament” and that was the beginning of our love story <3.

We were at the tail end of our Asia adventure. On the last day in Bali, we had a beautiful floating breakfast delivered to our hotel pool, which overlooked the Ubud jungle. This was such a peaceful and amazing experience and was a great start to the morning. Little did Megan know, the day was about to get a whole lot better! We made our way to the Tegallalang Rice Terrace, where we hiked down the bright green and lush rice fields. Justin wanted to find the perfect spot to get the right angle in order to capture all the beauty that surrounded us. He went up ahead, eventually found a good place to set up our Go-Pro and asked Megan to pose for a few Instagram photos. After about two minutes of posing for photos with her back turned and arms up high, Megan started to get impatient and wanted to turn around; when she finally did, Justin was waiting behind her on one knee. He had a heartfelt speech prepared, which left Megan sobbing (happy tears, of course!) AND officially engaged!
