FAQs

The Wedding Website of Megan Brandon and James Goralske
Question

How & When Should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". We kindly ask that you RSVP digitally before August 23rd.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by August 23, 2026, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Question

What if I RSVP'd and can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! We understand that life happens, but please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible that you will no longer be able to attend.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

In order to maintain the intimate atmosphere of our wedding, attendance is limited to the children of our immediate family and wedding party. We hope our guests will enjoy a relaxing evening with great food, drinks, and dancing as we celebrate together.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re planning a more intimate celebration, and seating is limited. If you have been given a plus-one, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding as we thoughtfully create our guest list - we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What is the Attire?

Answer

We’re going for cocktail attire with a garden wedding vibe. Think dressy but comfortable, something you might wear to a nice outdoor evening event. For women: Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. For men: Suits or dressy slacks with a button-down. Jackets are encouraged, and ties are optional. The ceremony will be outdoors, and part of the evening will be outside as well, so you may want to bring a light layer.

Question

What’s the weather usually like in Orem in September?

Answer

September in Orem is typically beautiful — warm, sunny days with cool evenings. You can expect daytime highs in the mid-70s °F (around 24–27 °C) and evenings dipping into the 50s °F (10–12 °C). There may be occasional light rain, but sunshine is common this time of year. Packing a light layer for after the sun goes down is a great idea, especially for our outdoor ceremony!

Question

Will dinner accommodate dietary preferences?

Answer

We’ll be serving a buffet with a variety of options. If you have dietary preferences (vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.), please note them on your RSVP and we’ll do our best to have something you can enjoy.

Question

What if I have a severe food allergy?

Answer

If you have a medically significant or severe food allergy, please indicate it clearly on your RSVP and send us a quick email at m.j.goralske@gmail.com so we can coordinate directly with the caterer. Your safety is very important to us, and we want to make sure you feel completely comfortable celebrating with us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive by 4pm to ensure you have plenty of time to park, are your way to the ceremony site, greet other guests, and find your seat.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Registry details are coming soon — we’re still working on finalizing things and can’t wait to share! We’ll be happy to receive both gifts and cash options — and if you’re planning to bring a gift, we prefer items shipped to our home so we don’t have to haul them home from Utah. Our mailing address is: 3343 Idlewild Way, San Diego, CA 92117

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has on-site parking. There will be signs to guide you to our ceremony site.
