Meg and Tom met in the most romantic way possible: through mutual friends on the streets of Willimantic, CT on a cold November night in 2017. They were debating over who was the better team, the New England Patriots or the Buffalo Bills. Of course, Meg argued for the Pats and Tom argued for the Bills and they both thought "this will never work"...well 8 years later and look at them now! (The debate is still up in the air.) Before they officially met, Meg and Tom circled around each other's orbit for a few years, not realizing they both played for the Eastern Connecticut State University's Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams. They probably passed each other on campus or at the field a million times, in the same sweaty gear, never saying a word. Eventually, thanks to their friends and a few hangouts, they finally started to figure it out. Tom finished college in 2018 and frequently visited Meg while she finished out her college years until 2020. They both were living at home, starting their careers, and making too many memories to count. Eventually in 2022, they decided to really test their compatibility by moving in together --- because nothing says "true love" like arguing over who snores louder (it's Tom if you were wondering) or who leaves dishes in the sink (also Tom). Not long after moving in and re-doing their condo, they added a third roommate: a red fox labrador, Nala, who quickly took over their bed, their schedules, and their hearts. She has been the perfect addition to their little family. Now, 8 years later, Meg and Tom are still laughing, still learning and getting ready to spend forever together. It's been anything but a straight line, but it's been theirs -- and they wouldn't change a thing...
