In the Spring of 2017 Meg and Tim met at The Local Table Table and Tap on Kauneonga Lake where Meg was working as a server after graduating college a few months prior. After several dates - dinners in and out, hiking Minnewaska and Giant Ledge, countless lake days on Tim's boat and bottles of wine - the couple made their relationship official on August 3rd, and the rest is history. When their relationship began Tim was established in his career at Bethel Woods. Megan was a recent college grad, Navy reservist, and looking to continue her education. In the Fall of 2018 after being together for about a year and a half, they faced a potential year long deployment to Afghanistan. Fortunately, Megan did not end up overseas, and decided to apply to Dental Hygiene school instead. During this time Tim never wavered in his love and support, regardless of how unclear the future seemed to be. In 2020 Megan's time in the Navy came to an end, and in 2021 she graduated from dental hygiene school. On the morning of October 2nd, 2021 Tim took Megan for a hike atop Walnut Mountain in Liberty. It was here that Tim got on one knee and asked Meg to be his wife. They celebrated privately together with brunch at The Borland Inn in Montgomery, and spent the rest of the day sharing the exciting news with friends and family. They could not be more excited to start the rest of their lives together as a married couple and share a home and a family one day - and they are thrilled to have all of you along for the journey!
